Life on the road

It is funny how time floats slowly like mud or quickly like water over different moments of your life.

I’m at day 31 on my current travel and have experience time floating at different speeds over the past few days. How Switzerland, filled with shitty snow layers and barely any snow base, can feel like a heartbeat while Canada has filled like an eternity. Both were filled with fun, one a little less familiar than the other.

Being in a new area like Whistler has sparked my joy in skiing. The people I’ve met over the past weeks have pushed me over the edge of that familiar, comfortable space I’ve found myself in the past year or so. Sparked something I’ve felt been missing, and I just that I found it again.

I immerse myself in skiing and conversations. Finding myself more present as most of my online communication happens at night when Europe is awake. Special and magical.

35mm film from my Mju II and leaving one area of Canada for a new one in 24 hours.
